All Creatures of Our God and King
UMH 62
Words: Francis of Assisi
Music: Geistliche Kirchengesange
TUNE: LASST UNS ERFREUEN

All creatures of our God and King,
Life up your voice and with us sing,
O praise ye! Alleluia!
O brother sun with golden beam,
O sister moon with silver gleam!
O praise ye! O praise ye!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

O brother wind, air, clouds, and rain,
by which all creatures ye sustain,
O praise ye! Alleluia!
Thou rising morn, in praise rejoice,
ye lights of evening, find a voice!
O praise ye! O praise ye!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Dear mother earth, who day by day
unfoldest blessings on our way,
Alleluia!  Alleluia!
The flowers and fruits that in thee grow,
let them God's glory also show!
O praise ye! O praise ye!

Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

All ye who are of tender heart,
forgiving others, take your part,
O praise ye! Alleluia!
Ye who long pain and sorrow bear,
praise God and on him cast your care!
O praise ye! O praise ye!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
For Direction

Direct us, O Lord,  in all our doings, with your most gracious favor, and further us with your continual help, that in all our works, begun, continued, and ended in you, we may glorify your holy name, and finally, by your mercy, obtain everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Scripture
James 5:13-20 NIV
The Prayer of Faith

13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

17 Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.

19 My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, 20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
The Prayer of Faith

James tells us that the prayer of righteous people has a powerful impact for the Lord! He uses the example of the Prophet Elijah’s praying during the reign of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel. For 3 ½ years it had not rained because of Elijah’s prayers and then the rain finally came in answer to the prophet’s prayers. The prayer of faith comes from having faith in a great and mighty God. Are you practicing the prayer of faith with your family, with your community, and our nation? According to James, it can have a powerful effect for the Lord!

Still Rolling Stones
Paul Duncan, Lauren Daigle, Paul Mabury, & Jason Ingram

Out of the shadows, bound for the gallows
A dead man walking till love came calling

Rise up, Rise up
Six feet under I thought it was over
An answer to prayer, the voice of a Savior
Rise up, Rise up

Chorus:
All at once I came alive
This beating heart, these open eyes
The grave let go
The darkness should have known
You're still rolling stones
You're still rolling stones

Now that You saved me, I sing 'cause You gave me A song of revival I put it on vinyl
Rise up, Rise up
I once was blinded But now I see it
I heard about the power And now I believe it
Rise up, Rise up

Chorus

I thought that I was too far gone
For everything I've done wrong
Yeah, I'm the one who dug this grave
But You called my name
You called my name 2x

Chorus
Give Now
Postlude

The Lord Is My Shepherd
arr. by Larson
Life is short.
And we have little time
to Gladden the Hearts
of those who Travel with us.
So Love
quickly
, and
make haste to be
Kind.
May the Christ who loves us,
also travel with us,
and give us PEACE.
