Reckless Love
By: Caleb Culver, Cory Asbury, Ran Jackson

Before I spoke a word, You were singing over me
You have been so, so good to me
Before I took a breath, You breathed Your life in me
You have been so so kind to me

Chorus:

Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God. Oh, it chases me down, fights 'til I'm found, leaves the 99. And I couldn't earn it
I don't deserve it, still You give yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God

When I was Your foe, still Your love fought for me
You have been so, so good to me
When I felt no worth, You paid it all for me
You have been so, so kind to me

Chorus

There's no shadow You won't light up
Mountain You won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall You won't kick down
Lie You won't tear down
Coming after me

Chorus
Prayer: For Courage to Do Justice
O Lord, open my eyes that I may see the needs of others; open my ears that I may hear their cries; open my heart so that they need not be without succor; let me not be afraid to defend the weak because of the anger of the strong, nor afraid to defend the poor because of the anger of the rich. Show me where love and hope and faith are needed and use me to bring them to those places. And so, open my eyes and my ears that I may this coming day be able to do some work of peace for thee.  Amen

Great Are You Lord
By: Jason Ingram, Leslie Jordan, David Leonard

You give life, You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope, You restore
Every heart that is broken
And great are You, Lord

Chorus:
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise
We pour out our praise
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only

You give life, You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope, You restore (You restore)
Every heart that is broken
Great are You, Lord

Chorus

And all the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing
Great are You, Lord
And all the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing
Great are You, Lord
And all the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing
Great are You, Lord

Chorus
Scripture
John 6:16-21 NIV
Jesus Walks on the Water

16 When evening came, his disciples went down to the lake, 17 where they got into a boat and set off across the lake for Capernaum. By now it was dark, and Jesus had not yet joined them. 18 A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. 19 When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were frightened. 20 But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.” 21 Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.
Walking on Water
It had been quite a day. The disciples had witnessed the miracle of Jesus feeding 5000 people with a boy’s lunch: five small barley loaves and two small fish. Jesus withdrew to a mountain because the people wanted to force him to be their king. The disciples were rowing across the lake at night, and the winds were blowing, and the waters grew rough. Then they saw Jesus approaching the boat; walking on the water! They were terrified but Jesus said, “It is I; don’t be afraid.” In Matthew’s account of this story we discover that Peter walked on the water with Jesus. Walking on water is the call to live by faith and not by fear. What fear do you need to bring to the Lord and learn to trust him with this problem in your life? Remember Jesus can feed the multitudes with s boy’s lunch, He can walk on water, and He has risen from the dead!

Peace Be Still
By: Hope Darst, Mia Fields, and Andrew Holt

I don't want to be afraid
Every time I face the waves.
I don't want to be afraid,
I don't want to be afraid.
I don't want to fear the storm
Just because I hear the roar.
I don't want to fear the storm,
I don't want to fear the storm.

Chorus:

Peace be still.
Say the word and I will
Set my feet upon the sea
Till I'm dancing in the deep.
Oh peace be still
You are here so it is well.
Even when my eyes can't see,
I will trust the voice that speaks.

I'm not gonna be afraid,
'Cause these waves are only waves.
I'm not gonna be afraid,
I'm not gonna be afraid.
I'm not gonna fear the storm.
You are greater than it's roar.
I'm not gonna fear the storm,
I'm not gonna fear at all.

Chorus

Let faith rise up,
Oh heart believe.
Let faith rise up in me.

Chorus

As The Deer Fairest Lord Jesus
arr Mark Hayes
Do not be afraid.
The kingdom of heaven comes to change and transform us,
to reshape the world according to God’s reconciling will.

Go forth to bear witness to this community of love.
May the living presence of Christ be with you,
the life-giving power of God sustain you,

and the perfect light of the Holy Spirit shine within you,
now and to the end of the age.
Amen.
