All Hail the Power
UMH 154
Words: Edward Perronet Music: Oliver Holden
TUNE: CORONATION

All hail the power of Jesus' Name!
Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown Him Lord of all!
Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown Him Lord of all.

This Is My Father's World
Maltbie D. Babcok
adapted by Franklin L. Sheppard
arranged by Richard Walters

This is my Father's world,
And to my listening ears
All nature sings, and round me rings
The music of the spheres.

This is my Father's world;
I rest me in the thought
Of rocks and trees, Of skies and seas;
His hand the wonders wrought.

This is my Father's world,
The birds their carols raise;
The morning light, the lily white,
Declare their Maker's praise.

This is my Father's world;
He shines in all that's fair.
In rustling grass I hear him pass;
He speaks to me everywhere.

This is my Father's world;
Oh, Let me ne'er forget
That though the wrong seems oft so strong,
God is the ruler yet.

This is my Father's world,
Why should my heart be sad?
The Lord is King, Let the heavens ring;
God reigns, let the earth be glad.
Prayer
 For The Church

O gracious God, we pray for your holy Church universal, that you would be pleased to fill it with all truth, in all peace. Where it is corrupt, purify it; where it is in error, direct it; where in anything it is amiss, reform it; where it is right, establish it; where it is in want, provide for it; where it is divided reunite it; for the sake of him who died and rose again, and ever lives to make intercession for us, Jesus Christ, your Son our Lord. Amen

Scripture
Matthew 25:31-46 NIV
The Sheep and the Goats

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Sheep And Goats

How will God judge your life when its all said and done? Will He be pleased with what He sees? Jesus told a story about His return to earth and we get to see what is obviously very important to Him. When we see people that are hungry, we feed them. When we see people that are thirsty, we give them something to drink. We welcome strangers and clothe people. We visit people that are sick or in prison. How do you respond to people in need around you? Do you respond with compassion? remember Jesus’ reply this week “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

Hold Us Together
Matt Maher, Steve Wilson arr. by Erik Foster

It don't have a job
It don't pay your bills
Won't buy you a home in Beverly Hills.
Won't fix your life in five easy steps
Ain't the law of the land or the government
But it's all you need.

REFRAIN
Love will hold us together
Make us a shelter weather the storm
And I'll be my brothers keeper
So the whole world will know that we're not alone

VERSE 2
He's waiting for you
Knockin' at your door!
Every moment of truth
When your heart hits the floor
And you're on your knees

Bridge (2x)
This is the first day of the rest of your life
This is the first day of the rest of your life
'Cause even in the dark you can still see the light It's gonna be alright, it's gonna be alright
